Dr John Schaefer

Graduating in 1993 from Adelaide University, John worked in regional practices in Gawler and then Mt Gambier, before relocating home to the Barossa Valley in 2002.

John has a gentle and caring chair-side manner and takes care in explaining in detail, treatment plan alternatives in all areas of modern Dentistry, providing his patients comprehensive, full mouth dental care.

While John enjoys all aspects of dentistry, he has special interests in Cosmetic Reconstructive Dentistry, Crowns & Bridges, Implants and Restorative procedures. Dentistry is a career John finds very rewarding and enjoyable – one of the most rewarding parts for John is transforming smiles for an improved cosmetic result.

Dedicated to expanding his knowledge in the continually evolving field of dentistry, he attends many dental education courses, to ensure he provides the most up to date, optimum care for his patients.

In his spare time, John enjoys spending time with his three children, music, tennis and fast cars. He can be seen chasing lap times at Collingrove Hillclimb, as a member of the Sporting Car Club of S.A.

Dr Lincoln Fleetwood

Living in Angaston with his wife and 2 young children, Lincoln has embraced the Barossa Valley since moving here in 2004.

He enjoys the variety of all aspects of general dentistry and that no two days are the same! He will take the time to explain all the possible treatment options to his patients, many of whom comment on his gentle treatment.

When not educating and facilitating his patients on achieving their dental goals, Lincoln will be found talking about sport, music and more sport.

Dr Lucy Nixon

Joining Barossa Dental in 2015, Dr Nixon is a dentist who is especially interested in all aspects of general and preventative dentistry.

Dr Nixon is a graduate of the University of Adelaide and is looking forward to getting to know her patients and loves helping people look after their oral health.

Embracing the Barossa lifestyle, Dr Nixon has relocated to the area where she is looking forward to enjoying our local events and markets and becoming involved in the community. With her love of food and wine, we think she will fit in well!

Dr Brittny Roberts

Brittny graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2010. After spending the last 6 years moving around Australia with her husband while he was in the military, Brittny has now happily returned and settled in South Australia.

Brittny is committed to lifelong learning and enjoys continuing her education through reading and courses. She loves that working in dentistry allows her to meet new people every day and finds that helping people achieve and maintain healthy and beautiful teeth very rewarding.

Outside of work, Brittny is an avid netball fan, loves seeing her family and spends any other spare moment crocheting, cross-stitching or sewing!

Dr Tessa Jensen

Tessa is a graduate of the University of Adelaide and enjoys the many different areas that dentistry has to offer. She loves the positive impact that dentistry can have in people’s lives and meeting the many new faces that come through the clinic.

Having recently relocated to the Barossa, Tessa is looking forward to embracing the local lifestyle and joining a sports team or two! When she’s not at work or out on the basketball court, you can generally find her engrossed in a good book.

Tessa is excited to be part of the Barossa Dental team and looks forward to meeting everyone soon.

Dr Tamara Zhang

Originally hailing from Melbourne, Tamara moved to Adelaide to complete her Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the University of Adelaide.

During that time, she fell in love with South Australia and decided to stay to work.

Her gentle nature and caring manner make for a relaxing experience for anxious patients. In her spare time, you’ll find Tamara at the local gym or her favourite cafe.
